Our Introduction

LISTENING - The first step in our process is the most important.  We dedicate our time and energy to getting to know you and your family to discuss your needs, your lifestyle, your habits and your desires, all of which are essential to understanding what you are searching for in a new home building process.

The very nature of a true custom home means that you get personal attention from Chris Lee, the President and Owner of Christopher Lee & Company Fine Homes.  Chris is your first point of contact and continues to be your contact through the entire building process.

Bring us ideas, drawings, and photos to best describe what you want in your new home.  We will show you examples of our past and current work, introduce members of our team and offer suggestions to help you with key elements of building your dream home including budget, timing and possible finance options.

Communication For Success

At Christopher Lee & Company Fine Homes we have developed what we call TQC/Time - Efficiency, Quality - Product & Cost – Within Budget. We believe that clear communication between you, our client and us is paramount to reach TQC.

Below are some typical questions you might have concerning how our Communication For Success works.

1. How will you provide communication with me on the status of the construction of the home from start to finish?
Your personally assigned Superintendent will be available daily. Generally this is to let you know about progress and what is forthcoming. Contact will be either in the form of emails, or phone calls, whichever works best for your lifestyle. When questions, concerns, or changes are brought to our attention, they are documented fully, and addressed between the builder, superintendent, and affected contractors as needed. Daily communication between those positions is necessary for a successful building process. We will also provide you with his direct contact information.

2. Will we see Chris Lee, our builder on site?
You certainly will! Chris makes regular site visits and in addition there will be scheduled walkthroughs that correspond with our “Construction Process” chart.

1st Walkthrough: End of Stage 1 Site & Foundation once the slab is poured

2nd Walkthrough: End of Stage 2 Framing once the roof is framed

3rd Walkthrough: Beginning of Stage 4 Rough In of all M/E/P

4th Walkthrough: Middle of Stage 5 and end of Drywall so we can discuss the trim

5th Walkthrough: End of Stage 6 once the hardware is on

6th Walkthrough: The last schedule walkthrough will be during Stage 9 Punch Out

We will make ourselves available at any time should you have questions or concerns outside of the previously listed walkthroughs.

3. How will I know what is coming up in each phase of the construction process?
Your personally assigned Superintendent will keep you abreast of the progress during each stage of construction. You can also refer back to the “Construction Process” Chart provided in your Client Orientation Manual.

4. Can I feel comfortable going on a trip while my home is being built?
Absolutely! After making your product selections we can go to work doing what we do best! We would encourage you to do just that after working so hard picking out all those items for your new home!

The Result: TQC
Because of our expertise, dedication to quality and strength of communication, we are able to eliminate many common delays, complications and frustrations. The result is faster build times, smooth processes and peace of mind as we build you a home of superior quality.
